ViewMedica wins two Golds, Silver in eHealthcare awards

Swarm Interactive, Inc. is the developer of ViewMedica, a Web-based informational system used by thousands of doctors around the world to educate their patients with clear and attractive medical videos.

The ViewMedica patient education library is the recipient of two Gold and one Silver awards in the 2016 eHealthcare Leadership Awards. Three wins marks a new high for ViewMedica in the contest, topping two Golds won in 2015.

“Our 3D visuals have always scored well in the Best Rich Media category,” Swarm Interactive CEO Don Wittekind said. “But this year it was nice to also be recognized for the broader Best Content award, in which we competed against all forms of medical education across the web. This is a clear recognition that the content of our library is as strong as the stunning artwork we use to support it.”

The eHealthcare Leadership Awards recognize the very best websites and digital communications of healthcare organizations, online health companies, pharmaceutical/medical equipment firms, suppliers, and business improvement initiatives. These awards highlight the Internet’s role in achieving an organization’s business objectives and recognize the hard work that has gone into creating outstanding health websites and digital initiatives.

Winners were recognized during a special presentation at the 20th Annual Healthcare Internet Conference in Las Vegas. An independent panel of judges familiar with healthcare and digital communications evaluated the entries, who’s digital efforts were rated based on a standard of Internet excellence and how they compare with others.
