ViewMedica wins top honors in 2017 eHealthcare Leadership Awards
The ViewMedica patient education library is the recipient of two Platinum and two Gold awards in the 2017 eHealthcare Leadership Awards. Four wins marks a new high for ViewMedica in the contest, topping two Golds and a Silver won in 2016.
“We continue to be strong in the Best Rich Media category with two Platinum awards this year. That’s a huge validation of the efforts our production team has been putting into building our library,” Swarm Interactive Chief Creative Officer Scott Horner said. “It’s also very rewarding to be recognized for ViewMedica’s overall content and interactive features with two gold awards.”
Swarm Interactive, Inc. is the developer of ViewMedica, a library of medical videos used by thousands of providers around the world to educate their patients. ViewMedica subscribers play the videos on their websites, in their facilities and through their waiting room TVs. The ViewMedica content library is completely customizable and affordable.
ViewMedica On-Demand is accessible on smart phone, tablet and desktop environments, and subscribers can print hard-copy brochures for their condition or procedure videos. ViewMedica VMcast subscribers create their own ad-free broadcast to inform, entertain, and promote their services. And the Integrated Video service puts ViewMedica videos in any EHR or patient engagement system. All ViewMedica content includes closed captioning and Spanish versions.
The eHealthcare Leadership Awards recognize the very best websites and digital communications of healthcare organizations, online health companies, pharmaceutical/medical equipment firms, suppliers, and business improvement initiatives. These awards highlight the Internet’s role in achieving an organization’s business objectives and recognize the hard work that has gone into creating outstanding health websites and digital initiatives.
Winners were recognized during a special presentation at the 21st Annual Healthcare Internet Conference in Austin, Texas. An independent panel of judges familiar with healthcare and digital communications evaluated the entries whose digital efforts were rated based on a standard of Internet excellence and how they compare with others.
