New Video: Monkeypox

To help you educate your patients about the current monkeypox outbreak, we just launched a new video.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recently declared the current monkeypox outbreak to be a public health emergency. That came a little less than two weeks after the World Health Organization (WHO) called the outbreak an emergency of international concern.

With more than 30,000 cases confirmed worldwide this year, the US has seen the highest surge of confirmed monkeypox cases with numbers now reaching over 10,000.

While the monkeypox virus has been known for decades, this worldwide outbreak is new. And it is important for people to understand what it is and how it spreads.

That’s why ViewMedica just published a video explaining the monkeypox virus. As the situation with this outbreak changes, we will be updating this video and adding more related videos as needed.
