Customizing the Embed Code
You can customize the On-Demand embed code by turning on or off certain features, changing their default settings. Embed settings can be changed for the main embed, individual embeds, presentations, and collection menus from their respective tabs.
Use the Standard features to change:
Language
The embed default has your player launch using the language set in your On-Demand Settings. By default, that is English. You can override the On-Demand setting for just this embed by setting the embedded player to launch in a different language.
Menu Access
The default (or “On”) gives users access to all menus in your On-Demand player for this embed. Set this to “Off” and your users won’t be able to access other content with this embed. When Menu Access is off for an individual video embed, there are no menu buttons to let the user browse to other content. When Menu Access is off for a section menu embed, the user can only browse the embedded section and any menu within that section.
Width
This is how wide the player is on the embedded page in pixels.
Use the Advanced features to change:
Video Language
The default has your player play videos in the same language as the menu/player language. You can set this to play videos in another available language.
Caption Language
The default has your player show subtitles using the same language as the menu/player language. You can set this to show subtitles in another available language. This can be set independently from the video language.
Audio
The default (or “On”) has your player launch videos with normal audio. You can set this to “Off” to launch videos with the volume muted.
Brochure
The default (or “On”) has your player play videos with access to printable brochures. You can set this to “Off” to remove the “Print Brochure” button.
Subtitles
The default (or “Off”) has your player play videos without showing subtitles. You can set this to “On” to turn on the subtitles when a video starts playing.
CC Button
The default (or “On”) has your player give the user access to the “Subtitles/CC” button allowing them to turn the captions on/off. You can set this to “Off” to remove the Subtitles/CC button.
Disclaimer
The default (or “On”) has your player give the user access to the “References/Disclaimer “button. You can set this to “Off” to remove the “References/Disclaimer” button.
The default (or “On”) has your player give the user access to the “Enlarge” button allowing them to make the video fullscreen. You can set this to “Off” to remove the “Enlarge” button.
Markup
The default (or “On”) has your player give users access to the markup mode. Set this to “Off” to remove the “Markup” button.
Search
The default (or “On”) gives your player a search feature. Set this to “Off” to remove the “Search” button.
Chapters
The default (or “On”) gives your users the ability to skip to different chapters of a video in the player. You can set this to “Off” to remove the “Chapters” button.
Sharing
The default (or “On”) has your player give the user access to sharing features. You can set this to “Off” to remove the “Share” button.
Loading
The default (or “Lazy”) helps your page load faster by not loading the player until the user scrolls to where the embed is on the page. You can set this to “Eager” to load the player regardless of whether the player is visible on the page. Or, you can set it to “Auto” to let the user’s browser decide whether to use lazy or eager loading.
