If you already have ViewMedica content on your website or the ViewMedica Integrated Video service, simply log into your ViewMedica.com account. Enable the VMcast service from your account Dashboard by clicking on “Add/Remove Services” in your Account Settings. If you do not have a ViewMedica.com account, sign up for VMcast now.
Yes. VMcast requires an internet connection because it is a streaming service. This benefits you in a couple ways: The content is always the latest available, and you can easily change your custom content on the fly. VMcast video files are optimized to be easy on your internet connection. And, once you start using VMcast, it automatically saves all ViewMedica loop content to your device. That frees up your internet for other uses and allows VMcast to keep playing even if your Wifi connection temporarily drops. But, an internet connection is still used to make sure your loops and other content are up-to-date.
No. VMcasts are ad-free. And more importantly, all content is either created by you or selected by you.
There are many affordable equipment solutions that you can deploy to get your VMcast on your waiting room TV. All options use the free VMcast app. Some options include:
- RECOMMENDED: Amazon’s Fire TV Stick or Fire TV
- A PC Stick Device or Mini PC
- Any Windows or Macintosh computer that can connect to your TV via HDMI
Yes. We recommend you use an HDMI splitter to send the video signal to multiple TVs. Or, you can connect separate internet enabled devices to each TV. But you will need to purchase a separate Stream Code for each streaming device that will run simultaneously.

Your Loop’s length is unlimited. It is up to you how many ViewMedica videos and Custom Content items are used in your VMcast Loop.
Yes. Take advantage of our Custom Content feature and your VMcast Loops can do more for your facility. Add your own custom text slides, custom image slides or videos that explain pre-operative or post-surgical instructions. Display HIPAA notices, your service hours, or promote your ancillary services and feature staff members. The possibilities are endless.
Yes. VMcast Loops can include videos from your YouTube account.
Yes. Create as many Loops as you need, and you can select which Loops to run for your VMcast. For example, a practice that schedules a certain type of patients on Tuesdays can run a special VMcast Loop to show more patient-specific content.
Yes. Contact us to set up a consultation with one of our designers to plan out your custom design needs. Custom produced slides and promos cost $50 each. Our design staff is well versed in what a medical practice needs in display content, and has access to a large collection of medical-related artwork that will make your image slides look professional. Most Custom Production orders can take anywhere from 3 - 5 days to complete. Depending on volume and if changes to proofs need to be made, additional time may be needed.
