Upload Your Own Video to VMcast
This is the best way to add your videos to VMcast. In VMcast, uploaded video items are saved to your device to reduce your internet use. Only VMcast subscribers in our Pro Setup and Fully Managed plans have access to upload videos. If your account does not have access to this feature, call us to see how to upgrade.
When building or editing a loop, select the blue “Add Videos” button. From the options here, select the “Add Your Own Video” link.
Give the Video a Content Title. This title will be seen in the ViewMedica menu system. Use a descriptive name so you and your patients can easily find it in your ViewMedica menu.
Select “Upload Video”.
Either drag your video file to the upload box, or select “Choose Video to Upload” to find the video on your computer. Accepted video types are mp4, m4v, web, mov, avi or wmv files no larger than 500MB. It may take some time for the video file to be processed by our server.
Now the video is in your loop list. When it is done processing, it will also show up when this VMcast loop is running on your TV.
