Hide a collection from public view
By default, new collection menus are created as "Public," which means that they are live within your On-Demand player under the collection menu item in your main menu.
Everyone has access to a public collection menu. But some collection menus may be used for internal use only or may not be ready for public use. For those collections, you want to set them to be “Private.”
From your account dashboard, click the On-Demand’s “Collection Menus” link.
You will see a list of your collections. Click the collection you want to make private.
Under the collection menu’s title, click the “Settings” tab. Then click the “Edit” button in the “Playback Options” section. Here you have a Public/Private toggle button for visibility.
Select “Private” to make the collection private.
Now when you preview your On-Demand player, the collection will not be shown in the collection menu. You can still use the private collection’s embed code to embed your collection on a web page. For example, you may want to do this to give a non-public facing page of your website access to the private collection menu so staff can use it for patient education in the exam room.
