Get the Basic On-Demand Embed Code

This tutorial helps you get the basic embed code that makes your On-Demand player load the main menu screen. There is a different tutorial for getting [customized embed codes](/support/make-the-viewmedica-player-jump-directly-to-a-specific-video-or-menu) that make your On-Demand player automatically load a specific video, presentation, collection or menu section. Here’s how to get the basic On-Demand embed.

  1. Start by signing into your account on ViewMedica.com. If you don’t remember how to sign in, see our logging in tutorial.
  2. From your account dashboard, click ViewMedica On-Demand’s “Installation Codes” link. On the Standard Embed Codes tab you can see the option for the “Full On-Demand player embed”.
  3. Select the “Main Embed” button. Then hit the “Copy” button.
  4. To send the code to a developer, paste it into an email message and send. Or, bring up any Web editing software, or a text editor, and paste the contents of your clipboard.
